Fee or Free is a website dedicated to bringing you the latest news and information about the UK newspaper industry, and whether we can expect to be paying for paper content online.
The Fee or Free blog will be posting all the latest news, comments and analysis from across the Internet. But that’s not all. We pride ourselves on being a user-focused site and believe you should be able to do more than read text and leave comments. So we want you to contribute – blog posts, profiles of newspapers and their online strategies and features. Although all contributions will be subject to a reasonable amount of editing, we aim to have our community of users producing the majority of the content by the end of the year.

This project is based at the University of Sheffield Journalism department.
This blog is part of a website being built for a MA Web Journalism project. Although it is public, it will have some differences to a normal blog and the main website is not public-facing. Some of the other links and projects referred to are for the purposes of the course and not in proper use. Sorry for any confusion!
Some of the blog posts are copied across from my personal blog.
